With our All day Every Day prescription service you can ORDER, and COLLECT your prescriptions 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. No more having to queue or wait around for home deliveries.
There is no charge for this service and you are not tied in in any way.
HOW TO ORDER YOUR PRESCRIPTION:
You can order your prescription in a number of ways:
- Use our app: Its easy to use and you can track its progress from placing the order, to “ready at the pharmacy”. You’ll also get reminders to take your medication and prompts to re-order your prescription. Download our app here.
- Download and use the NHS app from Google Pay or Apple App store
- Use the NHS prescription ordering website – ideal if you don’t own a smartphone
- Order from your GP
- If you are clinically vulnerable, you can order directly with the pharmacy. Send us your repeat slip, or call us.
HOW TO COLLECT YOUR MEDICINES:
You can collect your readied prescription any time you like, day or night, 365 days a year. If you haven’t previously used this pharmacy for your repeat prescription, simply join our prescription service here.
The next time you order your prescription you’ll be notified and sent a pin number that you can use to access your medicines from our automated collection point at the pharmacy. Collection is available night and day, 365 days a year!

Our All-Day, Every-Day prescription order and collect service is free – forever!
It’s not always easy to order and collect your prescriptions/medicines. We can deliver for a nominal fee:
- We charge £5 for a one-off delivery of prescriptions. Save by paying annually – £60 for all your prescription deliveries. It’s only £90 for 2 individuals at the same address.
- We can deliver over-the-counter medicines and other products at the same time as your prescription for free!
- Click-and-collect or we’ll deliver over the counter medicines and other items for £5 when these are ordered using our app.
- Download our ordering app for repeat prescription, over-the-counter-medicines and other products sold in our pharmacy here.
- Dossett Box Service (blister-packed medicines) Fees are as follows: £5 per weekly tray (£20/m). If you require us to deliver the dossett box, then the delivery charges outlined above, will apply.

When you next place an order and your medicines are ready to collect, you will receive a notification and a 4 digit pin that you can use to collect your medicines from our automated prescription collection point at the pharmacy.
You can collect day or night, 365 days a year.
Please allow at least three full working days for us to receive and prepare your prescription. If you have our prescription ordering app we will notify you when your medicines are ready to collect.
For your convenience, we have installed an automated collection point that is available to our patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This means you are not waiting around at home for deliveries and that you can get your medicines even when the pharmacy is closed.
We can deliver your medication in certain circumstances. There is a fee of £5 per delivery. Speak to our pharmacy if you require this service.
Chilled drugs are sent in a temperature-controlled container and delivered in no more than 24 hours. We ensure your medications are delivered on time and safely.
Please note: Due to pharmacy regulations we can not place controlled drugs or fridge items in our 24-hour collection point. In this case you have can collect your these medicines from the pharmacy during normal opening hours.

Back to the chemist for confirmation that my prescription would be ready in a few day.
Spoke to the pharmacist, He was so helpful and reassuring that if the prescription was not ready in time that I could do the next best thing and have half the dosage, 2 capsules per day instead of one.
He was very informative, and issued me with a letter with all the relevant information, to be given to my surgery for authorisation.
This has now been taken to the surgery, hopefully will be able to pick up prescription that I need, within the next 2 days.

I've been using just about every Pharmacy in Letchworth over the years, everyone has had issues, mainly with my prescriptions not being made in time and having to wait for hours to collect them.
No issues with Letchworth Pharmacy after being with them for a year. Everytime I order though the app then walk in a few days later and its ready. The staff are so friendly and helpful aswell. A breath of fresh air.

I am travelling from New Zealand and arrived with a chest infection. Feeling very unwell, my cousin who lives in Hitchin took me to Letchworth Pharmacy. I was seen by a fantastic man who took my details and diagnosed a chest infection. The prescribing pharmacist then came and confirmed the diagnosis and prescribed antibiotics, steroids and an inhaler. The whole process was completed in under an hour. The two people I saw were so professional kind and respectful.
I was very relieved to get some medicine for my complaint. This wonderful service only cost £50. Such great service. Thank you
